These guitars are from ’74, ’71, ’66, and ’66. Two are Candy Apple Red with racing stripes(called “competition colors), one is “dakota red” and the other “daphne blue”. These are Fender’s names for the colors. The Mustang has a 24 in. scale lenth which is shorter. A Strat has 25.5 in. scale length and a Les Paul has 24.75 in. This is how long the string is from nut to bridge. The Mustang was basically a “surf” guitar. It has an awesome single coil sound and I particularly like the 2 pickups together which can also be selected out of phase. These guitars are like a “poor mans vintage strat” and are worth $1000 to $2000 each.
