Our hearts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Philip from Youth Gone Wild. He suffered a broken neck immediately before his band went on at The Fat Cat Sunday. I was standing with him and we both heard a loud crack. It wasn’t until the second song of their set that we realized what had happened. Philip exhibited great courage and strength and finished the set playing with a broken neck! Our hats go off to Philip. If there is anything we can do to help we want to do so. We take broken necks very seriously at VMIRocks! I have had about 4 broken necks myself so I know first hand how traumatic it can be. We wish Philip a speedy recovery. We hope that Philip’s wine red Gibson Les Paul Studio will be back rockin’ soon!
