We have our busiest performance schedule yet for our fall semester. With 53 bands, and the opportunity for each band to play three separate times, it takes a lot of shows. All of the bands will play one Wednesday night at Ralston’s Goat. The Wednesday night live series will begin September 29, and continue through October 6, 13th, and 20th. Most of the shows will go from approximately 5:30 PM until 9:30 PM. These downtown shows are tons of fun, usually packed, and wonderful events for the Family oriented music community. Great food and drink from Ralstons and terrific atmosphere. All of the bands will play either October 9 or October 10 at the Riverbank Cheese and Wine festival. We have been doing this festival for years and it is a great way to combine a VMI show with a favorite local event. New organizers, and awesome sounds provided by Encore, promise a great time! All of the bands will play either October 17 or October 24 at VMI. Our home shows are always favorites, with our sound and light system, and rock ‘n’ roll on our home turf! Precise lineups/schedules will be released approximately one week before each of the eight different events.
Since 2009 we have been putting musicians of all ages and musical levels, into small groups/bands, rehearsing weekly, and performing at the end of each 8 week semester.
