MODSTOCK 2012: Behind the Scenes

Here’s what is being discussed so far for Modstock 2012.
Bring in “Big Mike”, a promoter of X-fest fame. He will bring sponsors such as Coca Cola and Bud Light adding money which we can use to make the event as big as possible. This will remain a family oriented event.
Have 2 national touring artists as headliners.

and Muddy Waters Jr.

As before, the family-oriented event will include food booths, games, bounce houses and arts and crafts in a “rock ‘n’ roll circus” atmosphere, in addition to the music.
We are shooting for mid August, a Saturday this time, and 2-4 thousand people. Every one is welcome to come to this event. The first half of the day will be VMIRocks bands and the second half will be selected pro bands. We turned away many pro bands last year and we expect to have more bands competing for the coveted Modstock slots this year. Roberts Auto is our main sponsor and is helping to make all this happen.
